IDEF 2027, the 18th International Defence Industry Fair, will be held at the Istanbul Expo Center from 3–9 May 2027 under the auspices of the Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Türkiye, with the support of the Presidency of Defence Industries of the Republic of Türkiye, under the management and responsibility of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation, and organized by KFA Fairs.
IDEF (International Defence Industry Fair) is one of the world's leading and most prestigious defense exhibitions. Hosted by Türkiye, the event brings together defense industry companies, military authorities, experts, and other key stakeholders, providing a platform for showcasing innovative technologies, strengthening international cooperation, and exploring new business opportunities.
Held biennially under the management and responsibility of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation, IDEF has been organized regularly since 1993 and serves as a major platform for presenting the latest developments, products, and technologies in the defense sector. The exhibition features a wide range of products and services, including naval, air, and land systems, military equipment, security technologies, weapons, ammunition, and defense electronics. Participants include defense industry companies, military officials, government representatives, industry experts, media organizations, academics, and non-governmental organizations from around the world.
